The log cabins provide a cozy atmosphere surrounded by beautiful grounds teeming with wildlife like birds and sloths. They feature a kitchenette and a separate dining area, making them practical for longer stays.
The chalets show signs of wear, with some furniture being uncomfortable and occasional issues like lukewarm shower water. Wi-Fi only works at the front desk, making communication tricky, and the steep walk to get to it can be tiring, especially after dark. Accessing amenities like the pool is limited, given its cold water due to the altitude.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cabanas La Pradera. The peaceful surroundings allowed for delightful wildlife watching, especially the resident sloths. The cozy cottage was well-equipped for self-catering, and Tony and his family were exceptionally helpful with all our needs during our visit.
Breakfast quality could improve.

Consider bringing your own picnic blanket to relax outdoors, as the seating on the porches can be uncomfortable.

Cabanas La Pradera seems to pride itself on their beautiful surroundings, but don’t let that distract from the uncomfortably old outside furniture. Also, the breakfast for $7 was a complete joke. I expected five-star treatment yet got more like fast food quality. A free upgrade for all the trouble woudl have been nice but no, just regular service, I guess.
